How do I charge the SlimTag Pro?
The SlimTag Pro is charged once and then lasts up to 6 months. Any conventional inductive charger can be used for charging, but not the Apple Watch charger. A charger is not included in the delivery.
Does the SlimTag Pro also work in a wallet with an NFC blocker?
The SlimTag Pro uses Bluetooth and UWB (Ultra-Wideband) to communicate with Apple devices. The NFC protection in the wallet only blocks NFC and RFID signals, but not Bluetooth or UWB. Therefore, the SlimTag Pro works perfectly even in NFC-protected wallets.
Are people notified who are traveling with my SlimTag Pro?
Yes, the SlimTag Pro has security measures to prevent it from being used for unwanted tracking. These measures include:
1. Notifications on smartphones: If an unknown SlimTag Pro is nearby and moving for a certain period of time, the person will receive a notification on their smartphone. This notification contains information on how to deactivate the SlimTag Pro. The notification occurs between 8 and 24 hours, providing enough time to locate the SlimTag Pro in time before the thief becomes aware of it.
2. Sound alarm: If a SlimTag Pro is separated from its owner for an extended period and is moving, it emits a sound to alert people nearby.
These features are designed to ensure that the SlimTag Pro cannot be used unnoticed to track people.
How do I connect the SlimTag Pro to my smartphone?
- Unpacking: To ensure the SlimTag Pro arrives well-packaged, it is sealed on the sides with a small sticker. Take a knife and carefully cut along the edge.
- Turning on: Press the power button with your thumb and index finger for five seconds. You will hear a melody confirming it.
- Connecting: Open Apple's "Find My" app and navigate to the "Items" tab in the bottom navigation. A context menu will open. Select the "+" symbol on the right side of the menu header and then click on ...... . The SlimTag Pro will now appear on your screen. Enter a name like Wallet, which you can later use to ask Siri about your wallet.

Currently, the SlimTag Pro is only intended for use with Apple devices and the "Find My" app.
